Formación del profesorado de Educación Física en relación a los alumnos con necesidades educativas especiales

Abstract

La presencia de alumnos con necesidades educativas especiales en colegios ordinarios se hace más evidente cada día. Así, los objetivos del presente estudio pretenden describir y analizar la relación entre la variable de titulación y la sociodemográfica y la formación inicial y permanente recibida por los profesores de Educación Física de las diferentes etapas educativas acerca de los alumnos con necesidades educativas especiales. Está investigación se basa en un diseño no experimental, cuantitativo y de corte transversal. La muestra está formada por 40 profesores de Educación Física de la Comunidad de Madrid. Para el análisis de los resultados se ha optado por un análisis bivariable a través de tablas de contingencia. Así, los resultados más relevantes indican que la formación inicial adecuada sobre atención a la diversidad depende del tipo de titulación, es decir, según sean graduados o diplomados en magisterio de Educación Física, graduados o licenciados en Ciencias de Actividad Física y Deporte o tengan ambas titulaciones, y que la formación permanente sobre este tema es escasa.

The presence of students with special educational needs in ordinary schools is becoming increasingly obvious. The aim of this study is the description and the analysis of the direct relationship and correlation between the various academic qualifications and socio-demography, as well as the initial and the continuing education of teachers of Physical Education in different stages of study for the students with specific educative needs. The research follows a quantitative methodology with a descriptive profile and non-experimental and this has been a transversal research. The size of sample is 40 physical education teachers in Community of Madrid. The results obtained therefrom have been subjected to a bi-variable analysis of the contingency table. So, on analysis the most significant findings have revealed that the adequate initial education about diversity outreach depend on academic qualification, that is, if teachers are graduate in Sciences of Physical Education and Sport, graduate in Physical Education or teachers who have both qualification, and that there is a lack of continuing education about the same topic.
