Abstract

Este libro, dirigido tanto a estudiantes como a profesionales recoge los fundamentos físicos de los equipos de diagnóstico por imagen, medicina nuclear y radioterapia. El manual está adaptado al currículo de los técnicos superiores y pone especial interés en el tratamiento y actualización de los contenidos, incorporando material gráfico de calidad para facilitar el aprendizaje de los futuros técnicos. La obra se estructura en trece capítulos que recogen aspectos esenciales de la física aplicada y descripciones completas de los propios equipos que facilitan la comprensión del funcionamiento de los mismos. Los contenidos abarcan los equipos de radiología convencional, tomografía computarizada (TC), resonancia magnética (RM), equipos de ecografía, medicina nuclear y radioterapia. Además se incluyen supuestos prácticos, actividades, resúmenes e infinidad de recursos e imágenes que completan la labor didáctica de la obra de una forma atractiva.

This book, aimed at both students and professionals collects the physical foundations of imaging equipment, nuclear medicine and radiotherapy. The manual is adapted to the curriculum of the superior technicians and puts special interest in the treatment and updating of the contents, incorporating quality graphic material to facilitate the learning of the future technicians. The work is structured in thirteen chapters that contain essential aspects of the applied physics and complete descriptions of the own equipment that facilitate the understanding of the operation of the same ones. The contents cover conventional radiology, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, nuclear medicine and radiotherapy equipment. In addition they include practical assumptions, activities, summaries and infinity of resources and images that complete the didactic work of the work in an attractive way.
