Relación entre el grado de implicación paterna y la discrepancia educativa parental en la capacidad de adaptación y la satisfacción familiar de los hijos
Abstract
El objetivo del presente estudio fue conocer cómo afectaba el grado de Implicación paterna percibido por los hijos a su Inadaptación general, personal, escolar y familiar; así como a su grado de Insatisfacción familiar y de Insatisfacción respecto a los hermanos. Asimismo, se estudió como afectaba la Discrepancia educativa parental percibida por los hijos al grado de Implicación paterna percibida. La muestra estuvo formada por 92 alumnos (46 varones y 46 mujeres) de entre 12 y 18 años a los que se les aplicó dos instrumentos: el Test Autoevalutivo Multifatorial de Adaptación Infantil (TAMAI) y la Escala de Implicación paterna (FIS). Simultáneamente, se administró un cuestionario sociodemográfico diseñado para este estudio. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron relaciones significativas para la Implicación paterna respecto a la Inadaptación escolar, Insatisfacción familiar, Insatisfacción de hermanos y la Discrepancia educativa. En congruencia con investigaciones anteriores, los datos sugieren una mejor Adaptación escolar y Satisfacción familiar y con hermanos, para los hijos que perciben una mayor Implicación paterna y una menor Discrepancia educativa parental. En relación a las variables demográficas recogidas (edad, sexo, curso, número de hermanos, posición en la fratría, nivel educativo del padre y de la madre, tipo de relación de los padre y tipo de convivencia familiar) no se rechaza la influencia de las mismas en el grado Implicación paterna percibida, a pesar de que se precisa analizar los datos recogidos con mayor profundidad. The aim of the present study was to know how the degree of perceived father involvement affect the general, personal, social and scholar Inadaptation of the daughters, as well as the degree of family Dissatisfaction and Sibling Dissatisfaction. Likewise, the study observed the relationship between Parental educational discrepancy perceived and the degree of perceived Father Involvement perceived. The sampled comprised 92 students (46 males and 46 females) from 12 to 18 years old. Two instruments were applied: Test Autoevalutivo Multifatorial de Adaptación Infantil (TAMAI) and, Father Involvement Scale (FIS). Simultaneously, a sociodemographic questionnaire was administered and designed specifically for this study. The results indicated significant relationships between Father Involvement and the variables: Scholar Inadaptation, Family Dissatisfaction, Siblings Dissatisfaction and Educational Discrepancy. Along with previous investigations, the data suggest a better Scholar adaptation, Family, and sibling Satisfaction for those who perceived higher Father Involvement and lower Educational Discrepancy. Regarding the sociodemographic variables collected (age, sex, school year, sibling’s number, sibling’s position, father and mother educational level, type of relationship of the parents and type of familiar coexistence) not denied their influence on the degree of perceived Father Involvement, although it is require to analyze de data collected in greater depth.
