Impacto del blockchain y las criptomonedas en las entidades financieras

Abstract

En el presente estudio se han analizado tanto las criptomonedas como la tecnología escondida detrás de ella. Asimismo, y después de haber realizado un estudio en profundidad sobre ambos fenómenos, se ha hecho hincapié en cómo se ha visto afectado el mundo financiero por ambos. En primer lugar, se ha explicado que es el Blockchain y cómo funciona. Posteriormente, se ha realizado un estudio en profundidad de los activos a los que da vida esta tecnología y se ha efectuado una comparativa de aquellos activos más representativos para dar con aquel que pueda llegar a ser adoptado por la banca. Finalmente, se ha realizado un estudiado sobre cómo el mundo financiero se ha visto afectado por ambos fenómenos. Además, se ha profundizado sobre el criptoactivo escogido tras la comparativa realizada y sobre la multitud de ventajas que ambos fenómenos han ocasionado en el mundo financiero.

The study has been focused on analyzing both cryptocurrencies and the technology hidden behind it. Once an in-depth study of both phenomena was made, emphasis was placed on how the financial world was affected by them. To begin with, it is explained what the Blockchain is and how it works. Subsequently, a study was carried out of the main cryptocurrencies and a comparison was made out of those assets in order to find out the one that could be used by banks. Finally, it has been studied how the financial world is affected by both phenomena. Likewise, a more in deep study was made out of the crypto active chosen after the comparative study and, of the competitive advantages that both phenomena have brought to the financial world.
