dc.description.abstractEl artículo tiene por objeto abordar la realidad de la esclavitud y la trata de seres humanos en el siglo XXI. En la primera parte se analizan ambos conceptos y también cuál es su relación con el trabajo forzoso; mientras que la segunda parte está dedicada a dimensión transnacional de la trata de seres humanos, así como a la relación que existe entre el tráfico de migrantes y la esclavitud moderna. Por último, se reflexiona sobre posibles propuestas de futuro para hacer frente a esta problemática.es-ES
dc.description.abstractThis article seeks to address the reality of slavery and human trafficking in the 21st century. The first part analyses both concepts and their connection with forced labour; meanwhile, the second part examines the transnational dimensión of human trafficking, as well as the link between the trafficking of migrants and modern slavery. Lastly, possible forward-looking proposals to tackle this issue are explored.en-GB
