FRANET Short Thematic Report Contribution to FRA Fundamental Rights Report 2017 & Information Request on EU Charter of Fundamental Rights in Spain

Abstract

Diversos esfuerzos a nivel nacional y EU buscaban reforzar la protección de los derechos fundamentales en el 2016, mientras que algunas medidas amenazaban con socavar dicha protección. 2017 de informe de los derechos fundamentales de FRA comentarios sobre importantes desarrollos en el campo, identificando ambos logros y áreas de interés restantes. Esta publicación presenta opiniones de FRA en los principales acontecimientos en las áreas temáticas cubiertas y una sinopsis de las pruebas que apoyan estas opiniones. Para ello, proporciona un resumen compacto pero informativo de los retos principales de los derechos fundamentales frente a la UE y sus Estados miembros.

Diverse efforts at both EU and national levels sought to bolster fundamental rights protection in 2016, while some measures threatened to undermine such protection. FRA s Fundamental Rights Report 2017 reviews major developments in the field, identifying both achievements and remaining areas of concern. This publication presents FRA s opinions on the main developments in the thematic areas covered, and a synopsis of the evidence supporting these opinions. In so doing, it provides a compact but informative overview of the main fundamental rights challenges confronting the EU and its Member States.
