Abstract
We are currently facing a new social paradigm, in which it is possible to obtain a positive financial return and generate an impact on society. This is due to the emergence of concepts such as impact investing. On the other hand, within the investment world, shareholder activism is becoming one of the star strategies. Given this situation, the goal of this research work is to identify the relationship between impact investing and shareholder activism. In this way, we will have the opportunity to understand this new way of investing and its importance; explore the benefits of this type of activism; to ultimately study whether there can be shareholder activism within impact investing.
