Caravana de Solidaridad entre los Pueblos

Abstract

La Caravana Hondureña que aglutina a miles de migrantes centroamericanos rumbo a Estados Unidos plantea una dinámica que no es nueva, sino un éxodo que viene repitiéndose en las últimas décadas. Una marcha duramente criticada y que intenta demonizar a las personas migrantes por parte de los estados que fuerzan a estas personas a dejar sus hogares. Esta marcha deja a la luz la confabulación política, social, económica y criminal que supone realmente el motor de las causas de la indignidad de las que huyen. No nos llamemos a engaño, el origen de este fenómeno migratorio es la pobreza extrema, la violencia generalizada y la falta de oportunidades fruto de un modelo de desarrollo injusto y excluyente. Lamentablemente, esta situación tiene un paralelismo con lo que vivimos en nuestra Frontera Sur y en tantos otros rincones del mundo donde se intenta poner muros a la solidaridad entre los pueblos.

The Honduran Caravan that brings together thousands of Central American migrants to the United States poses a dynamic that is not new, but an exodus that has been repeated in recent decades. A march strongly criticized and trying to demonize migrants by the states that force these people to leave their homes. This march brings to light the political, social, economic and criminal collusion that is really the engine of the causes of the indignity from which they flee. Let us not be deceived, the origin of this migratory phenomenon is extreme poverty, widespread violence and the lack of opportunities resulting from an unfair and exclusive development model. Unfortunately, this situation has a parallel with what we live in our Southern Border and in so many other corners of the world where we try to put walls to solidarity between peoples.
