Raíz bíblica de la mística teresiana : presencia de la Biblia en la obra teresiana

Abstract

“Raíz bíblica de la mística teresiana, presencia de la Biblia en la obra teresiana” de Martín Martínez Larios bajo la dirección del Dr. Secundino Castro, presentada en la Universidad de Comillas, Madrid, 2015. El objeto de estudio de la tesis es la “raíz bíblica de la mística teresiana”, entendida como la función de nutrir y conformar la mística teresiana (V 40,4), a través de dos vías principales; la tradición espiritual y carmelitana, que subraya la “contemplatio”, como meta principal. Por “mística teresiana” entendemos la experiencia y reflexión sobre el misterioso designio salvífico en la Biblia (Ro 16,25-26). La importancia del tema es porque el ejercicio de lectio divina de santa Teresa y su atención a “comprender por experiencia” la Biblia (7M 1,7), ofrecen luces para delinear una hermenéutica espiritual de la Biblia. El objetivo de esta investigación es el de determinar las formas de raíz bíblica de la experiencia y reflexión mística de santa Teresa. La metodología de investigación requerida ha sido interdisciplinar tanto de investigación documental como de exégesis y hermenéutica bíblica. La bibliografía consultada abarca fuentes teresianas y bíblicas, diccionarios, comentarios, concordancias y una bibliografía específica sobre el tema que comprende doce monografías y aproximadamente ochenta artículos en libros y revistas. El contenido de la tesis está compuesto por ocho capítulos que abordan las formas de presencia de la Biblia en santa Teresa en; 1 su cultura; 2 fuentes directas; 3 presencia cuantitativa; 4 presencia cualitativa; 5 presencia global por usos; 6 presencia en la etapa inicial; 7 presencia en la etapa intermedia; 8 presencia en la etapa superior; seguido de conclusiones y un apéndice con un índice teresiano bíblico y la bibliografía. Como aportes principales de esta investigación tenemos el análisis de la presencia cuantitativa de la Biblia en santa Teresa (índice bíblico teresiano clasificado) y la sistematización de la hermenéutica bíblica espiritual teresiana.

The object of study of this work is on the “biblical root of saint Teresa’s mystical experience”, understood as the task of the Bible of nurturing and verifying saint Teresa’s mystical experience (Life 40,4), thru two principal channels; the Christian spiritual tradition and the Carmelite tradition, that underlines the contemplation as its basic goal. For “Teresian mysticism” we refer to the experience and pondering of the mysterious salvation plan in the Bible (Ro 16;25-26). The relevance of our topic is due to the fact that the exercise of “lectio divina” in Saint Teresa and her attention to the “understanding thru experience” the Bible (Mansions 7th 1,7), offer light to trace a spiritual hermeneutic of the Bible. The main goal of this investigation is that of pointing the forms of biblical root of the mystical experience and doctrine of Saint Teresa. The method used in this work is a varied one according to the topic treated, which is documentary inquiry, exegetical and hermeneutical. The bibliography used holds biblical and Teresian scientific resources, such as dictionaries, commentaries, concordances and a specific bibliography over the Bible in Saint Teresa that comprehends twelve books and over eighty articles. The content of the thesis is divided in eight chapters that discuss the ways in which the Bible is present in the works of Saint Teresa; 1st in her culture; 2nd direct contact; 3rd the quantity of quotations; 4th Saint Teresa’s biblical hermeneutics; 5th global presence of the uses of Bible in her works; 6th presence of the Bible in the initial spiritual grades; 7th presence of the Bible in the middle stage; 8th presence of the Bible in the superior stage; followed by the conclusions and a teresian biblical index and the bibliography. The main contributions of this work are in chapter three of the analysis of the quantity of biblical quotations in Saint Teresa’s writings and the fourth chapter of her spiritual hermeneutics of the Bible.
