Covid19 y Agenda 2030. Repercusiones
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to study the impact of COVID-19 on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) between January and December 2020. In order to do so, a desk-based research of six SDGs, namely SDGs number 1, 3, 8, 10, 11 and 17, grouped into four dimensions (economic, health, environmental and cooperation) is carried out. At the same time, a comparative analysis is done amongst the five selected countries (Spain, Norway, United States, Kenya and Senegal) to determine whether the impact of the pandemic on the chosen indicators has been positive or negative. The paper concludes that the availability of data is still limited to date. However, the available information allows us to infer that, except for the environmental dimension, COVID-19 has had a negative impact on the achievement of the economic, health and cooperation SDGs.
