Eutanasia y cáncer. Algunas reflexiones

Abstract

El artículo analiza la relación entre las peticiones de eutanasia y el cáncer. Actualmente suponen más del 70% de los casos en los países donde está legalizada. En artículo hace un recorrido por los distintos países, por la terminología, por la influencia de los medios, por la situación del enfermo de cáncer y las fluctuaciones de voluntad y por los argumentos utilizados centrándose en los aspectos sociales y la pérdida del sentido de comunidad. Tiene en cuenta las opiniones de las Asociaciones de Enfermos.

The article analyzes the relationship between requests for euthanasia and cancer. Currently they account for more than 70% of the cases in the countries where it is legalized. The article makes a tour of the different countries, by the terminology, by the influence of the media, by the situation of the cancer patient and the fluctuations of will and by the arguments used focusing on social aspects and the loss of sense of community .
