Abstract
The fairing has been designed for the electric prototype of the ICAI Speed Club (ISC), for this a first version has been designed in SolidWorks that has subsequently been simulated in Fluent. For the first design, the limitations imposed by the MotoStudent competition as well as those imposed by the geometry of the prototype have been taken into account. After analyzing the simulations, a second version of the fairing has been designed, which has been simulated as well. For the simulations, a computational domain will be created in which the piece to be tested is introduced. Then this fluid volume is meshed and finally the simulation boundary conditions are changed. Finally, a third and final fairing design is developed for which a sustainable manufacturing process has been developed through the use of additive manufacturing. At the same time, it meets two of the Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations in 2015. For this, the traditional material composed of a linen fiber and an ecological epoxy resin will be replaced, reducing the impact on the environment. Finally, other proyects will be proposed as a complement of this one.
