Padres y Maestros 55 años. En educación todos sumamos: Entrevista a Isabel Celaá.

Abstract

Presentamos en este artículo una entrevista a Isabel Celaá (Bilbao, 1949), actual ministra de Educación y Formación Profesional. La entrevista, concertada durante el mes de septiembre con motivo del 55 aniversario de Padres y Maestros, se celebró el martes 10 de noviembre coincidiendo en el tiempo con el debate del Proyecto de Ley de la LOMLOE. Fue realizada por el profesor de Comillas Vicente Hernández, director de la revista durante los últimos diez años. Más allá del objetivo inicial de conocer la mirada de la ministra sobre la educación de nuestro país, pudimos hacernos eco del impacto y de las polémicas que se están produciendo en la tramitación de esta nueva Ley, principalmente por la ausencia una vez más del tan socialmente demandado “pacto educativo” entre los dos principales partidos políticos que se han alternado en el Gobierno de España desde la aprobación de la Constitución en 1978.

We present in this article an interview with Isabel Celaá (Bilbao, 1949), current Minister of Education and Vocational Training. The interview, arranged during the month of September on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of Parents and Teachers Journal, was held on Tuesday, November 10, coinciding in time with the debate on the LOMLOE. It was carried out by Comillas professor Vicente Hernández, director of this Journal for the last ten years. Beyond the initial objective of knowing the view of the minister on the education of our country, we were able to echo the impact and the controversies that are taking place in the processing of this new Law, mainly due to the absence once again of the so socially demanded "educational pact" between the two main political parties that have alternated in the Government of Spain since the approval of the Constitution in 1978.
