Violencia de género en las relaciones de pareja: Patrones transgeneracionales e intervención

Abstract

La violencia de género en las relaciones de pareja es un problema que sigue presente en nuestra sociedad y que afecta a un gran número de mujeres, puesto que esta no distingue entre grupos sociodemográficos. Con el fin de poder intervenir sobre este fenómeno, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivos describir los patrones de violencia de género que aparecen en la pareja dentro del ámbito familiar, analizar las consecuencias psicológicas que sufren las víctimas, analizar si dichos patrones de la violencia se transmiten transgeneracionalmente y cómo afectarían a los niños y a las niñas, y en describir las posibles formas de intervención que se podrían realizar con las víctimas y con los agresores para que esos patrones pudieran ser modificados y no continuar con su transmisión. Se ha encontrado que la mayoría de los investigadores coinciden en que haber sufrido directa o indirectamente violencia durante la infancia, es un factor de riesgo para ser futura víctima o agresor, es decir, que se encuentran diversos patrones dentro de la violencia de género que se transmiten a través de las generaciones, los cuales pueden ser modificados mediante una intervención terapéutica.

Gender-based violence in intimate partner relationships is a problem that is still present in our society and affects a large number of women, as it does not distinguish between socio-demographic groups. To be able to intervene in this phenomenon, this paper aims to describe the patterns of gender violence that appear in couples within the family environment and to analyze the psychological consequences suffered by the victims. As well as analyzing whether these patterns of violence are transmitted transgenerationally and how they affect children. Describing the possible forms of intervention that could be carried out with the victims and the aggressors so that these patterns could be modified and not continue to be transmitted, is also one of the objectives of this paper. It has been found that most researchers agree that having suffered directly or indirectly from violence during childhood is a risk factor for being a future victim or aggressor, which means that several patterns of gender-based violence are transmitted through generations, which can be modified by therapeutic intervention.
