El artículo 15.1.c) del Reglamento 44/2001 sobre competencia judicial internacional requiere para su aplicación que el contrato esté comprendido en el marco de actividades comerciales o profesionales ejercidas por el empresario en el Estado miembro del domicilio del consumidor o dirigidas, por cualquier medio, a dicho Estado. El Tribunal de Justicia de la Unión Europea trata la cuestión de si se requiere también una relación causal entre la actividad comercial y la conclusión del contrato. Article 15.1.c) of the Regulation 44/2001 on jurisdiction requires to be applied that the contract falls within the scope of the commercial or professional activities pursued by the business in the member State of the consumer’s domicile or directed, by any means, to that State. The European Court of Justice addresses the question whether it is also required a causal link between the commercial activity and the conclusion of the contract
