¿Es posible que la indiferencia en los Ejercicios Espirituales de san Ignacio presente alguna huella de los estoicos como Epicteto o Marco Aurelio? Este artículo analiza algunas observaciones que relacionan el ser estoico y el hacerse indiferente en dos escuelas espirituales totalmente diversas. Tras un estado de la cuestión, analizamos el Principio y Fundamento de los Ejercicios en relación con la indiferencia. Mediante algunos textos de los estoicos, comparamos el modo de comprender la vida, el fin del ser humano y su relación divino-humana. A modo de conclusión, finalizamos con una serie de líneas sobre la indiferencia para el estoicismo y la teología ignaciana Is it possible that indifference in the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius is marked in some way by Stoics like Epictetus or Marcus Aurelius? This article analyzes connections between being stoic and being indifferent from two totally different schools of spirituality. After an introduction, the Principle and Foundation of the Exercisesis analyzed in light of indifference. Texts from Stoics are used to compare ways of understanding life, the ultimate purpose of human beings, and the divine-human relationship. The conclusion offers a series of observations about indifference within Stoicism and Ignatian theology
