El Estado constitucional pospandemia ¿crisis o fortalecimiento?

Abstract

Se recogen en este libro las actas del XIX Congreso de la Asociación de Constitucionalistas de España (ACE), celebrado en la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Pontificia Comillas de Madrid los días 24 y 25 de marzo 2022, bajo el título «EL ESTADO CONSTITUCIONAL POSPANDEMIA: ¿CRISIS O FORTALECIMIENTO?». La pandemia producida por el COVID-19 generó un fuerte impacto en las instituciones y en las normas que regulan el Estado constitucional. Fue una situación sin precedentes en la historia de la humanidad, que supuso un reto para el mundo jurídico, pues el Derecho tuvo que reaccionar excepcionalmente y en muchos casos a remolque de los acontecimientos e innovando. Se generaron importantes dudas sobre si el Estado constitucional estuvo a la altura y, sobre todo, si de esas vivencias ha salido fortalecido o debilitado. Sobre los riesgos, las incertidumbres y el horizonte postpandémicos trata este libro, queriendo aportar luces desde las aportaciones de firmas relevantes y especialistas del Derecho constitucional en España.

This book contains the proceedings of the XIX Congress of the Association of Constitutionalists of Spain (ACE), held at the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Comillas University in Madrid on March 24 and 25, 2022, under the title "THE POST-PANDEMIC CONSTITUTIONAL STATE: CRISIS OR STRENGTHENING?" The COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on the institutions and norms regulating the constitutional state. It was an unprecedented situation in human history, posing a challenge to the legal world, as the law had to react exceptionally and, in many cases, in response to events and innovations.
