This Bachelor Thesis proposes a didactic program for Mathematics in the third grade of Primary Education, contextualized at CEIP Tomás Bretón, and aligned with the Organic Law 3/2020 (LOMLOE). It aims to integrate innovative educational strategies to enhance mathematical learning through interactions with physical education and games, collaborative learning, and its application to real-life contexts.
Mathematics students often face anxiety stemming from difficulties in understanding and applying theoretical concepts, which negatively impacts their participation and performance. This issue is exacerbated by monotonous tasks and static teaching methods. To address these challenges, the program incorporates games and physical activities that make mathematics more attractive and relevant, promoting cooperative and contextualized learning.
The program emphasizes adapting teaching to individual needs and promoting diversity and inclusion. It highlights the importance of technological resources and continuous evaluation to optimize mathematical learning. Integrating physical activity not only enhances academic performance but also supports students' cognitive, motor, and socio-affective development.
In conclusion, this academic work seeks to transform the teaching of Mathematics into a more dynamic, applied, and enjoyable experience for third-grade primary students. By reimagining how mathematical concepts are taught, the program aims to create a more engaging and effective learning environment that addresses the unique challenges and needs of students, thereby fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of mathematics.
