La ultramodernidad del Trabajo Social y el modelo de mediación insight: promoviendo prácticas educativas, reflexivas y emocionales para la resolución de los conflictos

Abstract

En pleno siglo XXI se hace necesario redefinir el Trabajo Social con el objeto de buscar improntas que promuevan innovadoras aportaciones ultramodernas en nuestra disciplina. Y dentro de éstas, entre otras, debe contemplarse el uso de otras lógicas mediadoras que mantengan una mayor correspondencia con el sentido y alcance de nuestra profesión, constituyendo la mediación insight un reciente modelo en el que encontramos esas oportunidades que ponen el foco en otra manera de entender y abordar el conflicto.

Cabe decir que no existe casi producción científica escrita en lengua hispana respecto del modelo de mediación insight, siendo escasísimos los artículos que abordan este tipo de mediación y, mucho menos, no nos constan manuscritos que intenten establecer la conexión existente entre ésta y el Trabajo Social desde su vertiente mediadora.

En el presente texto hemos delimitado previamente el alcance y sentido que debería contener la ultramodernidad disciplinar para poder justificar la base de la que partimos; posteriormente se han plasmado algunas cuestiones fundamentales acerca del modelo insight y finalmente, se ha intentado analizar y plasmar la correspondencia entre nuestra faceta disciplinar y dicho modelo de mediación, aportándose algunas claves que pueden mejorar en este escenario la práctica de nuestra intervención social mediadora.

.In the 21st century, it is necessary to redefine Social Work in order to search for imprints that promote innovative, ultra-modern contributions to our discipline. And within these, among others, the use of other mediating logics that maintain greater correspondence with the meaning and scope of our profession must be contemplated, insight mediation constituting a recent model in which we find those opportunities that put the focus in another way to understand and address conflict.

It should be said that there is almost no scientific production written in the Spanish language regarding the insight mediation model, with very few articles addressing this type of mediation and, much less, we have no manuscripts that attempt to establish the connection between it and Social Work from its mediating side.

In this text we have previously delimited the scope and meaning that disciplinary ultramodernity should contain in order to justify the basis from which we start; Subsequently, some fundamental questions about the insight model have been raised and finally, an attempt has been made to analyze and capture the correspondence between our disciplinary facet and said mediation model, providing some keys that can improve the practice of our mediating social intervention in this scenario.
