Sobre la disyunción : una clave fenomenológica en la filosofía de la realidad de Xavier Zubiri

Abstract

La filosofía zubiriana no negó nunca la herencia husserliana en su primera inspiración. Sin embargo, la comprensión que Xavier Zubiri tuvo del trabajo del padre de la fenomenología le pareció de insuficiente rigor para el análisis del acto de intelección que él pretendió realizar. Pero, con el conocimiento más pleno que actualmente podemos tener, las últimas investigaciones de Husserl sobre la afectividad y el instinto permiten encontrar una clave de análisis que, sin haber sido reconocida en el trabajo zubiriano, parece proponer un paralelismo en las dos investigaciones y permite aclarar con mayor precisión los alcances que, en orden a la construcción de una filosofía primera, tiene la propuesta del autor vasco.

En las investigaciones de los años treinta sobre la afectividad, Husserl encontró un núcleo irreducible que se mostraba generativamente en dos polos disyuntos pero inseparables, uno en dirección de lo propio del yo y otro en dirección de lo ajeno del yo. De manera semejante, el análisis de la intelección sentiente en Zubiri, que partía de problematizar ese mismo “residuo fenomenológico” afectivo, formulaba también en términos de coactualidad este mismo núcleo, indicando una congenereidad dinámica de saber y realidad, es decir, un dinamismo que constituía en irreducible y expansiva comunicación la realidad del yo sentiente y la realidad sentida, abriendo un ámbito de respectividad, el mundo, que sólo encontraba su unidad en este mismo dinamismo comunicativo.

Este trabajo sigue esta pista fenomenológica que puede rastrearse en la filosofía de la realidad de Xavier Zubiri para mostrar cómo el trabajo de este autor ha de llevarnos a la formulación de una metafísica que toma en serio la irreductible disyunción de modos de realidad que representan la realidad de la persona, como relativamente absoluta, y la realidad del mundo, relativamente relativa. Comprende, además, esta disyunción como generativa en tanto en ninguno de los dos modos de realidad puede darse una reducción de uno al otro, sino que se mantienen en un dinamismo de comunicación que abre a toda la riqueza de formas que la persona puede ir comprendiendo, disfrutando y donando en la realidad. Así, la persona se abre a su propia realidad fundada en una disyunción todavía mayor, en la comunicación con una realidad personal otra que libremente da de sí manifestando su propia verdad en la donación y abriendo en dinamismo interpersonal a la plenitud de verdad, bondad y belleza que la comunión de personas puede encontrar y dar en el ámbito de realidad del mundo.

The philosophy of Xavier Zubiri never denied its first husserlian inspiration. Nevertheless, the comprehension Zubiri reached of the work of the father of Phenomenology lead him to consider it insufficiently base don a rigorous analysis of the intellective act, he himself intended to analyze. But, with the current knowledge we can now have, the last research of Husserl on affectivity and instinct let us find an analytical key, unknown for the work of Zubiri himself, that seems to propose a parallelism in both research and clarifies accurately the true importance of the Zubirian work in order to build a first Philosophy.

In his research of the thirties on affectivity, Husserl found an irreducible core that showed itself generatively in two disjunctive but inseparable poles, one leading in the direction of that proper of the “I” and the other in the direction of the alien to the “I”. In a similar way, the analysis of the sentient intellection of Zubiri, that problematically analyzes the same affective “phenomenological remain”, characterized in terms of coactuality [coactualidad] this same core, pointing out a dynamic congenereity [congenereidad] of wisdom and reality, that is, a dynamism which constitutes an irreducible and expansive communication in the reality of the sentient I and the reality felt, opening a respectivity realm, the world, which only finds its unity in this same communicational dynamism.

This work pretends to follow this phenomenological hint that can be traced in Zubiri’s Philosophy of reality to show how this author’s work lead us to a Metaphysics which rigorously can show the irreducible disjunction of modes of reality in the reality of person, as relatively absolute, and the reality of the world, relatively relative. It comprehends also this disjunction as generative because none of each mode implies the possible reduction of the other, but they both maintain each other in a communicational dynamism that opens all the richness of forms that the person can actively comprehend, enjoy and donate in reality. It is so, the person opens herself to her own reality founded in a disjunction even greater, in the communication with an other personal reality who freely gives herself manifesting in donation her own truth and opening in an interpersonal dynamism to the fullness of truth, goodness and beauty that communion of persons can find and give in the realm of the reality of the world.
