Abstract

We live immersed in the Digital Revolution, a crucial point in history in which humanity will progress more in the following twenty years than in the last two hundred. The new technological advances and their exponential growth are creating new business opportunities. Thanks to this, for the first time we are able to offer the optimal information and service, to the right person, in the adequate time and place, and through the best channel. We can deal with limitless data in real time that provide the adequate tools for decision making. We can build a sustainable world that limits inefficiency by leveraging on the scarce resources. Now more than ever, we can control and reduce risks by predicting threats and acting in a proactive way. It is the time to move towards a smarter world. For this, enterprises and governments have to choose between facing the digital transformation by embracing new technologies in order to survive in the new competitive environment, or disappear.
