Abstract

.
In our current context, where hostility seems to be gaining ground over hospitality, the practice of hospitality constitutes good news and an authentic prophetic act of resistance and hope. We propose a journey that will allow the reader to discover in a different way what hospitality is, or rather, what hospitality we are talking about when we understand it as rooted in prophecy, resistance and hope. Starting from this initial observation, each of the sections that follow will be an opportunity to renew the idea of hospitality with fresh air, opening us to think and feel it from our shared vulnerability; in harmony with the Holy Scriptures through the testimony of the life of Jesus and the idea of Mambré, but also taking into account the indications of Pope Francis; launching proposals on community styles that are based on the experience of hospitality and finally opening up a new horizon on commitment and generosity.
