Incidencia del pelagianismo en la hermenéutica agustiniana de Is 10,23: un caso de exégesis dogmática de controversia

Abstract

El siguiente artículo busca mostrar los resultados de una investigación en torno a la interpretación agustiniana de Is 10,23 LXX, texto citado por Pablo en Rom 9,28. Los diversos contextos en los que aparece la cita isaiana dentro de la producción agustiniana permiten descubrir algunas constantes en la interpretación, así como una evolución referida al tema de la gracia en contexto antipelagiano. La palabra abreviada de la que habla el profeta Isaías será identificada por Agustín como el doble mandamiento del amor, cuyo cumplimiento se debe al obrar libre del ser humano ayudado por la gracia de Dios.

The following article seeks to show the results of an investigation into the Augustinian interpretation of Is 10:23 LXX, a text quoted by Paul in Rom 9:28. The various contexts in which the Isaianic quotation appears within the Augustinian production allow us to discover some constants in the interpretation, as well as an evolution referring to the theme of grace in an anti-Pelagian context.
