Infantil

Abstract

The project that follows is an educational innovation project aimed at students in the 3rd year of kindergarten at the Nuestra Señora del Pilar school in Madrid. The proposal places special emphasis on students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, stressing the need to promote inclusion not only in the didactic times and spaces of the school but also in those that are not, such as recess.

The project is called " Dynamics of inclusive playgrounds for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Early Childhood Education.", whose goal is that during recess time these students enjoy themselves, have fun feeling that they are part of the group, and develop and improve their social skills. Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder have great difficulties in relating to their peers, so it has been thought appropriate to carry out directed playgrounds three days a week.

It should also be noted that the proposal will not only benefit this type of student but also normotypical students, many of whom have great difficulties in establishing social relationships with others. To this end, a proposal has been made for three workshops (robotics, creativity, music therapy) gamified under the Pokémon theme.

To conclude, the main objective of the educational innovation project that has been developed is to improve the social skills of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder through a proposal of directed playgrounds.
