El discernimiento de carismas en la Iglesia. Eclesiología, sujeto y criterios

Abstract

Nos encontramos en una época de surgimiento de una gran cantidad de nuevos carismas, muchos de carácter laical, en la Iglesia. Son un don que enriquece a toda la comunidad cristiana universal y, a la vez, necesitan un discernimiento por parte de la jerarquía para que mantengan su autenticidad y ejercicio razonable (cf. Lumen gentium, 12). En este artículo se quieren proponer las tres claves necesarias para realizar este discernimiento: una adecuada eclesiología, una comprensión del sujeto discerniente y los criterios irrenunciables de autenticidad. Se proponen unos criterios de manera análoga a las reglas que san Ignacio propuso para el discernimiento de espíritus en su experiencia personal.

We find ourselves in an era of the emergence of a great number of new charisms, many of a lay nature, in the Church. They are a gift that enriches the entire universal christian community and, at the same time, they need discernment on the part of the hierarchy in order to maintain their authenticity and reasonable exercise (cf. Lumen gentium, 12). In this paper we wish to propose the three necessary keys to carry out this discernment: an adequate ecclesiology, an understanding of the discerning subject and the unrenounceable criteria of authenticity. Some criteria are proposed in a manner analogous to the rules that St. Ignatius proposed for the discernment of spirits in his personal experience
