Connecting return intentions and home investment: the case of Ghanaian migrants in Southern Europe
Abstract
Este artículo analiza las intenciones de retorno y la inversión productiva en origen de los ghanienses emigrados a España y a Italia. Usando la metología cualitativa de la entrevista en profundidad se estudia cómo la intención de retornar a Ghana es la principal motivación que lleva a los migrantes a invertir en su lugar de origen.
In this paper, we analyse the return intentions and home investment of Ghanaian migrants living in Italy and Spain. We show that the migrants intention to resettle in Ghana is a strong motivation for them to invest there.
