El Diálogo sobre el sacerdocio de san Juan Crisóstomo es la obra que más ha influido en la comprensión del sacerdocio en la Antigüedad cristiana. En este artículo se estudian el contexto en el que está escrito, las funciones más relevantes que atribuye al sacerdote el predicador antioqueno, así como las virtudes de que debe estar dotado y las dificultades para su ejercicio.The Dialogue on the Priesthood of Saint John Chrysostom is the work that has most influenced the understanding of the priesthood in Christian antiquity. This article will study the context in which it is written, the most relevant functions attributed to priesthood by the Antiochene preacher, as well as the virtues with which it must be endowed and the difficulties for its exercise.
