Abstract

This paper analyses the feasibility of the BuyQuick project, a start-up whose objective is to automate the management of food in the home, and facilitate all related activities, e.g.: making the shopping list and notifying when a product is going to expire. In order to make this analysis, the online grocery market and all its current competitors were analysed, which revealed a market gap that needed to be filled, and where BuyQuick fits perfectly. A customer segmentation was also carried out through a survey of 185 potential customers, which made it possible to identify the most suitable target market for the product and to adjust the marketing plan to their needs. After conducting the operational and financial viability, it was concluded that BuyQuick is potentially profitable and can help solve many household concerns.
