Abstract

El presente trabajo de final de grado (TFG) tiene como objetivo principal analizar la evolución de la inversión de los clubes de fútbol españoles en proyectos sociales para predecir cuál será su tendencia y obtener una herramienta que facilite su impacto, todo lo cual justifica el interés social de este estudio. Al centrarse este TFG en las inversiones sociales, se acudirá para definirlas a aquellas que se desarrollan dentro del paraguas de la Responsabilidad Social Corporativa (RSC), las cuales coinciden con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de carácter social, es decir, coinciden con la S de los criterios ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance). Inversiones de carácter voluntarista, pero que, de cada vez, son objeto de mayor regulación legal y en las se pasa de la filantropía a la sostenibilidad; cambios impuestos, sobre todo, porque mejoran la marca y el rendimiento económico. Transformaciones que prueban que se está ante una realidad en la que queda mucho por hacer, pero cuya investigación sería imposible si antes no se estudia su pasado y presente.This Final Degree Project (TFG) aims primarily to analyze the evolution of investment by Spanish football clubs in social projects, in order to predict future trends and develop a tool that enhances their social impact—all of which underscores the social relevance of this study. As this TFG focuses on social investments, they will be defined as those undertaken under the umbrella of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which align with the social Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), that is, with the “S” in the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria. These are voluntary investments, but they are increasingly subject to legal regulation, and there is a shift from philanthropy to sustainability—changes driven mainly by the fact that they enhance brand reputation and financial performance. These transformations show that this is a reality with much progress still to be made, but one that cannot be properly researched without first studying its past and present.
