Ética hablante. Pasión por el bien e inteligencia de la justicia

Abstract

El artículo propone un proyecto denominado «ética hablante» como respuesta a la crisis de las instituciones surgidas de la Ilustración. Partiendo de una concepción relacional de la subjetividad y la libertad, sitúa el encuentro cara a cara con el otro como acontecimiento ético fundamental. Este encuentro, caracterizado por la mirada, el habla, la escucha, la espera y la responsabilidad, constituye el fundamento de toda relación social. El autor analiza posteriormente el paso desde esta relación interpersonal hacia el ámbito institucional mediante la presencia del tercero y la exigencia de justicia. La ética hablante pretende así articular el bien, entendido desde el encuentro cara a cara, con la justicia como praxis institucional. Finalmente, propone el cuidado del habla y la creatividad institucional como elementos necesarios para afrontar la crisis de las instituciones contemporáneas.

The article proposes a project called “speaking ethics” as a response to the crisis of institutions originating in the Enlightenment. Starting from a relational conception of subjectivity and freedom, it places the face-to-face encounter with the other at the centre of ethical experience. This encounter, characterized by looking, speaking, listening, waiting and responsibility, constitutes the foundation of social relations. The author then examines the transition from interpersonal relations to the institutional sphere through the presence of the third party and the demand for justice. Speaking ethics thus seeks to articulate the good, understood through the face-to-face encounter, with justice as institutional praxis. Finally, the article proposes care for speech and institutional creativity as essential elements for addressing the crisis affecting contemporary institutions.
