Abstract

El capítulo reflexiona sobre la necesidad de construir valores éticos compartidos y una cultura de corresponsabilidad ante los desafíos de una sociedad global e interdependiente. La autora vincula el civismo mundial con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, defendiendo que la sostenibilidad, la dignidad humana y el bienestar colectivo requieren compromisos individuales y sociales. Asimismo, analiza la deshumanización derivada de la aceleración del tiempo, la importancia de recuperar la reflexión en la política y la necesidad de referentes éticos basados en la ejemplaridad. La educación ocupa un lugar central como instrumento de transformación social y aprendizaje permanente. Finalmente, el texto sostiene que la inteligencia artificial debe permanecer al servicio de una inteligencia colectiva guiada por principios éticos, evitando que la tecnología sustituya la responsabilidad y el criterio humanos.The chapter reflects on the need to build shared ethical values and a culture of co-responsibility in response to the challenges of a global and interdependent society. The author connects global citizenship with the Sustainable Development Goals, arguing that sustainability, human dignity, and collective well-being require both individual and social commitment. The chapter also examines the dehumanizing effects of an accelerated way of life, the importance of restoring reflection to political activity, and the need for ethical role models based on exemplary conduct. Education is presented as a central instrument for social transformation and lifelong learning. Finally, the text argues that artificial intelligence should remain at the service of a collectively constructed intelligence guided by ethical principles, rather than replacing human responsibility, judgment, and decision-making.
