Abstract

Se aborda el progresivo retorno del protestantismo a España a lo largo del siglo XIX, tras el corte histórico que representan los siglos XVII - XVIII. Previamente a la descripción del retorno, se presenta la realidad del protestantismo europeo en ese siglo a fin de destacar las diferencias con el protestantismo del siglo XVI, ya que las misiones a España vendrán marcadas por los cambios que se han producido en Europa en esos siglos, lo cual incidirá en el carácter del "nuevo protestantismo" español..

The progressive return of Protestantism to Spain throughout the nineteenth century, after the historical gap that represent the seventeenth - eighteenth centuries.
