Abstract

La reseña presenta la monografía de Axel Bühler sobre la organización de Israel en Números 1–4 y 26. El volumen estudia los censos, las cifras y la disposición tribal mediante métodos exegéticos poco habituales, como el análisis matemático-estadístico, la retórica numérica y la comparación histórico-literaria. La obra propone que los datos numéricos bíblicos no deben entenderse como simples informaciones demográficas, sino como construcciones literarias con valor simbólico y político. La reseña destaca la amplitud documental del estudio, su atención a fuentes bíblicas y extrabíblicas, y su propuesta de una composición en contexto helenístico.
