Abstract

En este ensayo, de las muchas referencias que podríamos hacer, nos fijaremos en dos: las fuentes bíblicas, y el eco de estas en la Vita Christi Cartuxano que Ignacio leyó en los comienzos de su conversiónThe Society of Jesus was the result of a process that led to bring the listening to the Word of God into personal decisions and ecclesial structures that could incarnate, make visible and announce the Jesus discovered, loved and followed since the conversion of Saint Ignatious in that distant year of 1521. Devotion to the "name" was both an instrument and a result of that experience. Where did Ignatius learn this devotion to the "name of Jesus"? What does this devotion entail? In this essay, of the many references that we could make, we will focus on two: the biblical sources, and their echoes in the Vita Christi Cartuxano that Ignacio read at the beginning of his conversion.
