La concepción tillichiana de la revelación. Una revisión de la crítica de J. P. Clayton y unos apuntes sobre E. Schillebeeckx

Abstract

Con el presente estudio pretendemos mostrar la manera según la cual el teólogo luterano Paul Tillich relaciona razón y revelación en su Teología Sistemática. Tomaremos en consideración los tres conceptos básicos de su pensamiento correlación, razón y revelación. Los tres conceptos están referidos uno al otro ya que el termino correlación explica el modo de estar vinculados la razón y la revelación. Analizaremos primero el término correlación en su concepto y método. En segundo lugar, describimos las diferentes concepciones que Tillich maneja de la razón y en tercer lugar, analizaremos el otro polo de la correlación, la revelación.oday, our cultural, social, and ecclesial context is in need of deep and serious reflection on theological language. Theological language is linked to the process of the inculturation of faith in time and space across different stages of history. It is important to highlight the danger of falling into "semantic betrayal," understood as the unexpected shift that traditional theological concepts undergo when they are used in a framework of understanding different from the cultural context in which they were born, as they acquire a different meaning in the new horizon from the one they originally had. The search for a new theological language that does justice to the current religious experience in the context of modernity is crucial.
