Abstract

This paper examines the connection between human creativity and artificial intelligence in business decision-making, with particular attention to digital marketing, brand communication, and neuromarketing. The initial question is whether algorithms constitute a threat to professional judgment or rather a tool capable of improving outcomes. The theoretical framework covers the psychological and neuroscientific foundations of creativity, the limits of artificial emotionality, and the current applications of AI in marketing. Building on this foundation, two semi-structured interviews were conducted with professionals from complementary profiles: an academic researcher involved in marketing and teaching, and a commercial director with experience in campaigns, sales, and forecasting. The results show that AI offers clear advantages in speed, data processing, and the generation of alternatives, while human strategic intuition retains its key role when data is unclear or when the context requires cultural sensitivity. The main point is that competitive advantage lies neither in fully automating processes nor in preserving traditional methods out of habit, but rather in a discerning integration that combines algorithmic efficiency with human judgment.
