| dc.description.abstract | This paper analyses the commercial and financial viability of a business model based on photovoltaic Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) contracts targeted at small and medium-sized industrial enterprises in Spain over the 2026–2030 horizon. The proposed model, named Jaime LT Placas Solares, finances, installs and maintains solar infrastructure on industrial rooftops at no upfront cost to the client, who pays solely for the energy produced at a price equivalent to 75% of the market rate. The research combines strategic environmental analysis — using PESTEL, Porter and SWOT frameworks —, documentary analysis of primary sector sources, and financial modelling over a five-year horizon. The results show that the model generates a Net Present Value of €2,129,615 at a discount rate of 10% and a positive operating cash flow from the first year of activity, remaining viable across all stress scenarios evaluated. Three critical hypotheses are identified whose failure would compromise the model's viability: the availability of bank financing at 85% of CAPEX from the outset, the maintenance of the electricity price above €0.16/kWh, and commercial execution exceeding 40% of the projected plan. | en-GB |
