Comparación de la eficacia del tratamiento “PRICE + Excéntricos y Masoterapia” frente a “PRICE” para el síndrome de Haglund

Abstract

Constatada la falta de estudios concluyentes sobre la eficacia de distintos tratamientos fisioterápicos del síndrome de Haglund, y tras una detallada descripción del síndrome, prevalencia, su etiopatogenia, la clínica, y el diagnóstico, así como las distintas posibilidades de tratamiento conservador; se propone la comparación de eficacia del protocolo “PRICE” (Protección, Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation), con otro “PRICE” al que se suman dos técnicas fisioterápicas: Masoterapia y Ejercicios Excéntricos, siempre con el objetivo de conseguir reducir la sintomatología del proceso. Se detallan las búsquedas bibliográficas realizadas que avalen la metodología del proceso investigador; se propone la protocolización del estudio con dos grupos, para la recopilación de datos de mediciones del dolor en EVA (Escala Visual Analógica) a fin de que con el estudio estadístico por comparación de medias poder concluir la distinta eficacia entre PRICE + EM y PRICE.

Observed the lack of conclusive studies on the effectiveness of different treatments physical therapy of Haglund syndrome, and after a detailed description of the syndrome, prevalence, its pathogenesis, the clinic, diagnostic, and the various possibilities of conservative treatment, is proposed a comparision effectiveness of of "PRICE" protocol (Protection, Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation), with another "PRICE" to which are added two physiotherapy techniques: Massotherapy and Eccentric exercises, always with the intention of achieving the asintomatology process. Detailed bibliography searches were conducted to endorse the methodology of the research process, we propose the formalization of the study with two groups for data collection pain measurement data EVA (Visual Analogue Scale), to its statistical study based on comparison of averages and so to conclude, or no, the different effectiveness between PRICE + ME and PRICE.
