Abstract

La canalización venosa en situación de emergencia es una opción imprescindible ante cualquier maniobra de estabilización de un paciente en situación crítica. También en momentos críticos el paciente debe ser tomado como ser humano en su totalidad y tratar de llevar a cabo todos los procedimientos necesarios con las mayores garantías de éxito y de eficacia. Igualmente se tendrá en cuenta la idea de continuidad de la técnica, una vez el enfermo sea estabilizado e ingresado en un centro hospitalario. Así los Catéteres Venosos Centrales(CVC), puestos con garantías de esterilidad suficientes, no será necesario cambiarlos en el plazo de 24h(CDC,2003)

The venous canalization in emergency situation is an essential option before any maneuver of stabilization of a patient in critical situation. Also in critical moments the patient must be taken as a human being in its entirety and to try to carry out all the necessary procedures with the biggest guarantees of success and of efficacy. The same way there will be born in mind the idea of continuity of the skill, once the patient is stabilized and deposited in a hospital. This way the Central Venous Catheters (CVC), put with sufficient guarantees of sterility, CDC will not be necessary to change them in the course of 24h (2003)
