« Transformés de clarté en clarté en la même image » (2 Co 3, 18). Conformation et transformation d’après Henri Suso

Abstract

.Partiendo del análisis de las referencias a 2 Cor 3,18 a lo largo de la obra de Enrique Suso, esta contribución muestra cómo entendía este discípulo de Eckhart la bienaventuranza y la transformación del ser humano en la imagen del Hijo: «de la claridad a la claridad», conformarse con la humanidad de Cristo para llegar a la claridad de su divinidad, contemplando a Dios sin velo, llegar a ser hijo de Dios y «uno» con Él. También se precisará cómo interpreta Suso estas afirmaciones, mostrando la continuidad de su pensamiento con el de su Maestro, Eckhart, así como las particularidades susonianas.

Based on the analysis of Henri Suso’s references to 2 Corinthians 3 :18, this contribution unfolds how this disciple of Eckhart understands the transformation of man into the image of the Son and beatitude : from « clarity to clarity », conforming himself to the humanity of Christ in order to arrive at the clarity of his divinity, contemplating God with no veil and becoming sons of God and « one » with Him. It will also be explained how Suso interprets these statements, showing the continuity of his thought with that of Eckhart, as well as the Susonian peculiarities.
