Abstract
La publicación es una recensión de la obra El hombre de los hielos, del arqueólogo Konrad Spindler, dedicada al descubrimiento y estudio del cuerpo prehistórico hallado en 1991 en los Alpes y conocido posteriormente como Ötzi. El libro presenta las circunstancias del hallazgo, su relevancia para el conocimiento de la Prehistoria europea y las investigaciones realizadas sobre el cadáver, sus vestimentas y los objetos asociados. Asimismo, aborda las distintas interpretaciones formuladas acerca de la identidad, forma de vida y circunstancias de la muerte del individuo. La recensión de Almudena Villegas Becerril da noticia de esta obra de divulgación arqueológica y de su aportación al conocimiento de uno de los descubrimientos prehistóricos más destacados del siglo XX.
