Efectividad del tratamiento de puntos gatillo en tríceps braquial para pacientes con diagnóstico de epicondilosis

Abstract

Objetivo Valorar la eficacia del tratamiento de puntos gatillo con la técnica de compresión isquémica en el tríceps braquial frente al tratamiento sólo convencional en todos los pacientes con diagnóstico de epicondilosis Metodología Se ha creado un estudio analítico, experimental, logitudinal, prospectivo y aleatorio. El estudio tiene una muestra que está formada por 28 sujetos, los cuales estarán diagnosticados por un médico de epicondilosis lateral. Se asignarán en dos grupos de forma aleatoria a todos los sujetos del estudio, ambos grupos estarán formados por 14 personas. El grupo control será el que reciba sólo el tratamiento convencional y el grupo experimental recibirá el tratamiento convencional más el tratamiento de puntos gatillo del tríceps braquial. Se procederá a realizar dos mediciones, una pre-tratamiento y otra post-tratamiento. El las mediciones se medirá el umbral de dolor del paciente, la fuerza de agarre y la calidad con la que realiza sus actividades durante su vida diaria. Para finalizar, se ejecutará un análisis estadístico de los resultados utilizando el programa SPSS Stadistics.

Objective The objective of this design is the assess the efficacy of trigger point treatment with the ischemic compression technique in the triceps brachii compared to only conventional treatment in all patients diagnosed with epicondylosis. Methology An experimental, analytical, longitudinal, prospective and aleatory. The proyect has a sample that´s made up of 28 subjects, who will be diagnosed by a doctor of lateral epicondylosis. All study subjects will be randomly assigned into two groups, both groups will be made up of 14 people. The control group will receive only the conventional treatment and the experimental group will receive the conventional treatment and the trigger point treatment of the triceps brachii. There are two measurements, one pre-treatment and the other post-treatment. The measurements will measure the patient's pain threshold, the grip strength and the quality with which he carries out his activities during his daily life. Finally, a statistical analysis of the results will be carried out using the SPSS Statistics program.
