Abstract
El artículo pretende dar a conocer aquellos elementos esenciales que han conformado las relaciones de Alemania y América Latina desde sus inicios en el siglo XIX hasta nuestro días. Hablamos principalmente del establecimiento de relaciones diplomáticas, la promoción de las relaciones comerciales y la mejora de las relaciones políticas dentro del marco de la UE.
The intention of this article is to show the most important element odf the relation between Germany and Latin America since the establishemnt of diplomatic relations in the 19th century until today. We speak mainly of the promotion or comeercial relations and the gradual improvementof political relations speacially under the framework of the EU.
