Escapando de los peligros de Hogwarts
Abstract
Currently in schools we can identify academic difficulties that affect all students in a course, preventing their development in the usual way. Consequently, this is going to harm them throughout their lives, and they are going to drag it down year after year. It is this type of situation that the entire management team and the guidance department must be aware of, in order to seek strategies and dynamics to improve it. For all these reasons, this master's thesis is a specific action program, aimed at improving mental calculation in high school students of a school invented from a real one. The counselor will be in charge of designing and organizing the intervention To carry out the intervention, an escape room set in the Harry Potter films has been created to motivate students and improve their academic results. This activity will be carried out specifically in the 4th year of Primary, at the time of mathematics and will have the participation of all the specific teachers of that subject. The main objective of this program is to reinforce students' knowledge of mental math and motivate them through the use of an escape room.
