Abstract

Si hay algo que destaca sobremanera en Sal 134-137 es la oposición entre Yahveh y los ídolos, caracterizada particularmente por medio de referencias a Gn 1. Una oposición que probablemente está muy presente en el orante, el cual, sin embargo, puede alabar a Dios sólo de manera parcial, en espera de que Éste le muestre nuevamente qué significa crear por medio de la palabra.

The opposition between Yahveh and the idols, which is highly emphasized in Psalms 134-137, is particularly characterized by references to Gen 1. The worshipper whose faith is challenged by this opposition realizes that his/her power of prayer remains only partial while waiting for God to act and to demonstrate over again God s power to create through God s word.
