Abstract

Background Achilles tendinopathy is a lesion with a high incidence among athletes, in which biomechanical variables interfere, as well as muscle activation, as well as the material used. Due to the lack of consensus, we will try to find the most appropriate treatment, comparing the eccentric exercise with isometric and concentric exercises in the pathology along with the usual treatment. Objetive To compare the gain in the ankle of Isometric Maximum Force and range of motion in Dorsal Flexion and Plantar Flexion in a usual treatment together with eccentrics, or together with isometric and concentric. Design An experimental, analytical, random, longitudinal, prospective, unicentric and masked study is proposed. Methodology The study will be aimed at athletes in relation to the Madrilenian Athletics Federation. To belong to the study, they must meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Subsequently, they will be divided into two groups: Group 1 (usual treatment + eccentric exercise) and Group 2 (usual treatment + isometric exercise + concentric exercise). Two measurements will be made, one pre-treatment and another post-treatment. The statistical analysis will be carried out through the SPSS
