Abstract


This paper presents AISMAN, a system intended to assist the EMS operators in planning and execution of switching sequences in subtransmision networks with different voltage levels. The current version of AISMAN is intended to be applied in routine operations, such as maintenance outages or reconfigurations os overloaded networks. Future versions will envisage local service restoration and other emergency manoeuvres.
