Abstract

In recent years blockchain technology has advanced by leaps and bounds. Already in 1991 the first work of a secure block chain using cryptography appeared, but in reality it was not until 2009 that it burst into our world as something totally innovative through bitcoin cryptocurrency. However, although the first bitcoin transaction took place recently, nowadays the use of this technology has spread to several sectors and more and more companies are implementing or starting from it to offer their products and services. Thus, this work arises as a result of a project that aims to apply blockchain technology to the creation of a platform for organizing university events called "APPARTY". Furthermore, all this takes place in the context of the "Comillas Emprende" competition, with the help of the Comillas-Everis Fintech Observatory. On the other hand, an attempt will be made to explain the problem detected and how the business idea, by means of the blockchain, aims to solve it. Likewise, a canvas of the business model will be presented through a Business Model Canvas, to later go deeper into the strategic plan of the startup. In order to achieve the latter, an external and internal analysis of the company will be carried out, which will allow the strategic objectives of the company to be defined later.
