Abstract
Se analiza la naturaleza, estructura y funcionamiento del Tribunal Constitucional, cómo se elige a sus integrantes, su papel como máximo intérprete de la Carta Magna y guardián de la misma, así como los principales mecanismos que permiten acceden a esta instancia, resaltando su relevancia para una sociedad democrática avanzada y alertando de los riesgos que tendría su desprestigio.
