Abstract

El marco mundial para hacer frente a desafíos medioambientales, sociales y económicos ha sido establecido por la Agenda 2030 y los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS). En este escenario, el desarrollo más inclusivo puede promoverse mediante las finanzas sostenibles y una estrategia empresarial responsable. Esta investigación examina el rol que tienen las compañías del IBEX 35 en dicha transición, analizando hasta qué punto incorporan estos objetivos en su gestión y comunicación. Para esto, se examinan las iniciativas de diez empresas de diferentes sectores y se incorporan los resultados de una encuesta a los empleados, comparando el discurso institucional con la percepción de estos. Las conclusiones revelan un compromiso en aumento, aunque desigual entre sectores, así como disparidades entre la comunicación corporativa y el impacto real de las acciones implementadas. El trabajo resalta la importancia de aumentar la transparencia y contar con métricas más sólidas para prevenir el greenwashing y reforzar la alineación con los ODS.The 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have been established as the global framework for tackling social, economic, and environmental issues. In this regard, responsible corporate strategy and sustainable financing have emerged as key pillars to propel the shift to more sustainable and equitable development. The degree to which IBEX 35 enterprises incorporate the SDGs into their management and operational communication is examined in this study, which looks at their involvement in this shift. The study investigates the actions taken by ten sample businesses from various industries and how they relate to the SDGs. It also compares the institutional vision with the perspectives of the personnel by using the findings of a survey given to professionals employed by these companies. The results demonstrate a rising commitment, albeit unevenly across industries, and point to a discrepancy between corporate rhetoric and the real effects of the activities taken. The study highlights that in order to stop greenwashing and guarantee a closer alignment with the SDGs, transparency and performance monitoring must be strengthened.
